Kenaikan suku bunga ini sejalan dengan ekspektasi ekonom dan analis yang memprediksi bahwa Federal Reserve akan mengurangi agresivitas dalam menaikkan suku bunga.<\/p>\n<p>Powell, Ketua Fed, masih bersikukuh bahwa target inflasi tetap berada pada 2% dan cara efektif untuk mencapainya adalah dengan menegaskan sikap hawkish.<\/p>\n<p>Perlu dicatat bahwa sebelumnya Federal Reserve telah menaikkan suku bunga 75bp hingga 4 kali beruntun, sehingga kenaikan 50bp kali ini dianggap tidak terlalu agresif.<\/p>\n<p>Pasar tampaknya menyambut hangat sikap hawkish Fed yang ternyata berhasil menjaga tingkat inflasi.
